Rare collection of two satirical pieces in Italian. The title of the second ""Il novo parlatorio delle monache, satira comica di Baltassaro Sultanini Bresciano"" (Leti's pseudonym) bears the date 1677.
Gregorio Leti (1630- 1701) was an Italian Protestant historian. Leaving his homeland in 1658, he settled in Geneva, where he converted to Calvinism. He successfully published numerous satirical, historical and biographical works.
