In-8, marbled basane, spine ribbed and decorated (period binding). Binding very worn, leather missing. The cartons are not bound and have been left as loose leaves between pages xxii and xxv and xxx and xxxv of the foreword.
First edition. Bacher (1740-1807), was a doctor-regent of the Paris Faculty of Medicine and first physician to Napoleon I's mother.
